The report brings the location, photographs, observations, significance and next steps together. Its limitations are part of the information you are paying for.
Five check statuses
Checked, partially checked, defects identified, not checkable and not applicable. These describe a check; they are not a severity scale.
Costs with context
An estimate must say what it covers and provide a range, source and date. A figure is not inserted simply to fill a box: if a justified estimate is not available, the reason is recorded.
Agree the language before booking
